Clemantine Wamariya

Member of the Board of Director

Clemantine is a social entrepreneur and human rights advocate committed to cultivating diverse leaders and innovators through the power of storytelling and professional development. Growing up in 9 different countries, she rather describes herself as "so many people and so many countries" in one body than "one person" only. She uses personal stories of her childhood in war-torn countries and refugee camps to inspire people to persevere despite great odds.

In 2016, President Obama reappointed her to  the board of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Clemantine  also serves on the Women for Women International Board. Here is a more detailed version of Clemantine's story written by herself for the online magazine Matter.

Her name stands for hope, courage and the committment to connect the brightest young colleges and universities students with professional opportunities at global companies where they can thrive.
