In this session filmmakers Micah Garen and Treasa O'Brien look at non-fiction storytelling in an age of ubiquitous digital device and platforms. The discussion will be moderated by Julia von Cube.

Description: 

Exploring the refugee crisis as an example, this session examines the personal story, and how narratives are shaped and shared.  From the Facebook revolution in Egypt to the Whatsapp migration today, digital tools are shaping our experience, with the power of cinema a driver of change.
