I have been a part of the press team in the Public Relations Office at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, since 2011. In addition to the ‘traditional’ channels of science communication, I'm focusing on promoting scientific content across different platforms and media channels in the field of web 2.0 and social media. Audio formats such as the science podcast ‘Time for Science’ – ‘Zeit für Wissenschaft’ as well as the University of Innsbruck’s radio show, ‘uni konkret’, and their combination with transmedia storytelling tools cover an essential part of my everyday work. Additionally, I share my knowledge in workshops for scientists and university staff and I'm actively engaged in the German speaking podcasting community.
