She covered Philippine politics, national security, the elections and other human interest stories. She’s also done international assignments in Myanmar, Hong Kong and other cities in China.

She co-produced and directed a documentary film called “After the Massacre” - an in-depth discussion on the state of press freedom in Mindanao through the lens of the Maguindanao massacre. This was shown in the celebration of World Press Freedom Day in Oslo, Norway and the Cebu International Documentary Film Festival.

Christine took her Masters in Media, Peace, Conflict Studies at the United Nations-Mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica.
