Lecturer

Simon is a Lecturer in Digital Art and Technology at Plymouth University and Technical Producer for i-DAT research institute. His main expertise is in the evaluation of interactive systems, with a particular emphasis on public engagement with science. He has presented work at venues such as Tate Modern London, Eden Project Cornwall, Threshold Festival Liverpool, Cheltenham Science Festival, Big Bang Manchester, Digital Shoreditch Festival and Bletchley Park Vintage Computer Festival. His current area of research interest is the exploration of interactive installations in real-world environments, making use of performative engagement, historical time-shifting and anachronism to perturb and disrupt audience perceptions.
