MazeTools: Soniface is a visual synthesizer application and groove sequencer. The combination between the words maze and tools represents for us the interaction between exploration and expression. To built up an immersive and interactive space we combined elements from different genres, like the circle of fifths, the colour-organ by Alexander Scrjabin, poly-rhythmic percussions as well as conventions from the side of digital music production and mobile app usage.
