About

MEDIA CONVENTION Berlin (MCB) is one of Europe’s pioneering media congresses. Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB) and Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb) are hosting the MCB in cooperation with re:publica and on behalf of the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg. Current issues of media and Internet politics, market trends and developments in digital media society are discussed in keynote speeches, fireside chats and panels as well as tested for practicality in workshops and best practice presentations. In addition to that, startups and media innovation projects from the capital region are presenting their ideas, developments and business models.

MCB is a meeting of national and international experts, media creators and digital natives: founders, established global players, gamers, net activists, scientists, broadcasting and media company directors and managers, Snapchatters, YouTubers, Instagrammers, media and Internet politicians, influencers, developers...

In 2017, MCB is cooperating with re:publica, one of the biggest digital society festivals, for the fourth time. The events are taking place at the same time, from 8 to 10 May 2017 at STATION Berlin. Visitors can access both events with their tickets. Once again this year, MCB and re:publica are expecting about 8,000 visitors from over 60 countries.
