Now it’s your turn: We want to know what you would do differently at re:publica? What was especially good and what wasn’t? That way we can ensure that we always keep improving! So send over your feedback, we look forward to hearing it. Simply take part in the survey and help get the re:publica 2018 a step closer to your ideal event. All you have to do is answer a couple questions until the 31 May 2017.

Take part in the survey and you can also win: 1x2 standard combo-tickets for both re:publica #rpDUB (7- 8 September) + #rpTHE (11- 13 September). In addition, we’ll also be giving away a ticket for the #rp18, which will take place from 2 to 4 May 2018.

“KEEP IT RADICAL & INTELLECTUALLY STIMULATING”: YOUR #RPTEN FEEDBACK

The 10th re:publica was wild, colourful and exciting – but what did you think went particularly well and where could we improve in the coming year? To find the answers to these questions we turned to the very heart of re:publica: you. A total of 917 people gave us feedback through our attendee survey!

Wow – thank you all for participating!

We've learned so many exciting things from you and one fact made us particularly happy: 49% of #rpTEN attendees were female. Yay!

With a broad view of the data, most re:publica attendees are between 31 – 40 years of age, employed (40%) or self-employed (24%) and what impressed us most: 42% travelled over 400km to be at re:publica.
We're also impressed that you don't just attend for the lolz: the number 1 reason you gave for attending was the programme content (85%), followed by new solutions and services (53%) and meeting interesting people (51%) but also for further professional development (47%). Once there most of you stayed for all three re:publica days (81%).

The 10th re:publica and we get to see even more new faces: 38% were re:publica newbies \o/. Welcome! A huge welcome and massive thank you also goes to the 1% of you who have been with us through all ten re:publica years.

You gave us high grades this year for the accreditation process and the short waiting lines. You also applauded the competence of our numerous helpers as well as the kids space. In terms of programme content you enjoyed the selection and quality of speakers, as well as the atmosphere and diversity of the entire event.

Where we could do better in future is in the selection of catering (more vegetarian options and shorter waiting times), our Wi-Fi coverage and stage / space assignment. We are also looking at improving the way we handle workshops and tie in our partners during the full 3 days.

But will we see each other again? YES (77%)!!! We already excited and can't wait to see you again!

Rest assured though, that we read all of your answers and reflected on all constructive criticism, suggestions for improvements and praise. The #rp15 Survey: "Ease. Variety. General Mood."

There’s always room for improvement, which is why we asked you to take part in our survey a few weeks ago. We requested your participation and honest feedback, and there were 1046 people who took part! Wow, that’s so much more than ever before. Thanks a lot for all your support!

Some of the things we wanted to know about this year: What was particularly good and noteworthy at #rp15, what wasn’t as good? Where can we do better, which motto would you like to see realized, and much more. Your suggestions are always valuable to us, and now we’ll see which of them we can implement.

The majority of our visitors are between 31 and 40 years old (37.45 %) and employed (54.13 %). What we are particularly pleased about is that 44.17 percent of participants are female, up another two percent compared to last year. And 79 percent stayed for the whole three days of #rp15. In view of long hours and countless talks, we’re happy to say that you’ve shown quite some resilience. 42 percent responded that they were first-time participants, compared to 31.76 and 26.89 percent for second and third-time visitors respectively.

With 7000 people in one place over three days, it’s not easy to find a quiet space with all the commotion. It was requested a couple of times that there should be more quiet areas, including at the evening parties for all those who don’t want to dance and just want a sit down.
But generally, the overall atmosphere and feel and the variety of guests were some of the main things you liked most about re:publica. We must say we’re delighted! Watch our video, "Finding Moments", with some impressions from the event:

"You never stop learning", and even if many of you (51.35 %) see re:publica as something of a class reunion and a chance to meet old friends, 53.44 percent of you also see the conference as professional training and education. But the top reason for coming is still the contents: 84.35 percent replied that they had visited because of our program.
Even though that number speaks for itself, there were some different opinions regarding the program: Some thought it was too crowded and lacking clear focus, but there were many others who particularly liked the variety of topics.

And finally, the most important point: nearly 80 percent of you responded that you will be back next year – and we already look forward to seeing you again!

But we did read your answers of course, and we’re very happy about the constructive criticism, suggestions and praise we received.
