David is Head of Strategy of the Vodafone Institute for Society and Communications. He is responsible for the strategic development of the institute’s programmes as well as heading up research and policy work in our various areas of work. He is particularly interested in digital learning, E-government, effects of digital innovation on labour markets and Big Data for good.
Before he joined the Vodafone Institute he was Head of the Vodafone Foundation’s Think Tank in Germany. David studied philosophy, political science and literature and holds a PhD from Oxford University. After his graduation he worked as a writer and political editor for various newspapers in Germany.
