Kleanthis Koupidis is Chief Operations Officer at Open Knowledge Greece. He graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012 and received his M.Sc. in Web Science from the same Department in 2014. Since 2012, he is a Data Analyst at Open Knowledge Greece contributing also at various projects of the Foundation. Currently he works in OpenBudgets.eu Horizon 2020 project using data mining techniques in fiscal data. Also, through Open Knowledge Greece he participated actively to the conformation of the Third Greek Open Government Partnership Action Plan. His research interests include the "Music Representation of Chaos" (graduation thesis), the "Emotion Recognition and Classification using Neural Networks" (M.Sc. thesis presented also at the 7th International Mathematical Week in Thessaloniki, 2015), Data Mining Algorithms, Big Data, Linked Open Data, Signal, Time Series and EEG analysis and Machine/Statistical Learning. He is also involved in various EU research projects. He is a singer, composer, lyrics writer, guitar and harmonica player. He has made live performances in various music scenes and bars in Thessaloniki. In 2013, published his first complete work, while recently he is engaged in composing music for cinema and games.
