Julia Sander is working for the German Association for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics/ Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik und Nervenheilkunde (DGPPN). Within the association, Julia is coordinating the eMEN project. eMEN is a six country, e-mental health project funded by the Interreg North-West Europe Innovation Programme. The ambition of eMEN is to increase the uptake of e-mental health and reduce the levels of unmet need in the partner countries (Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland and the UK). Therefore, the project will undertake a combination of digital mental health activity in research, product development, policy and communications. Transnational events that inform different target groups on e-mental health opportunities are part of the eMEN communications strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Health Psychology and Clinical Psychology.
