Ecosystems become more interconnected, startup teams become more diverse. In an ever more interdependent society, it´s important to build an open platform to connect international ecosystems with each other and beyond.
The German-Asian startup platform StartUp AsiaBerlin is a project established by the State of Berlin in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). It is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It involves German and Asian stakeholders from startup hubs that are responsible for creating productive ecosystems. The platform between the startup hubs Berlin, Manila, Jakarta and Bangalore enables the professionalization and direct cooperation between start-ups. This will be facilitated by a structured communication and cooperation between the coordinators of the Hubs. As a result, an international startup ecosystem should be established. StartUp AsiaBerlin offers the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for relevant global challenges. It aims at increasing the quality of the startups in the three partner cities, in terms of a post-industrial sustainable economic growth.
Join us for this session and meet LizAn Kuster from Impact Hub Manila, Kerstin Bock from Openers, Rainer Seider from the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises and many more stakeholders from our community to discuss ongoing activities (such as our upcoming Roadshow in fall 2017 through all 3 Asian hubs) and new ideas! We´re looking forward to meeting you!
